Computer Ports & Adapters
In this room, you can connect your computer to both HDMI and VGA ports. Make sure you have the right adapter(s) before coming to class. Please note that the adapters in this table are just examples. Adapters vary by brand, color, shape, etc.

A usb-c to HDMI adapter is provided in the room. Older computers without USB-C and without HDMI built-in can check out an adapter from Academic Technology in LIB 80. |

Modern computers will typically require an adapter for VGA. You can reserve one by calling (415)405-5555 or emailing at@sfsu.edu. Please include the model number of your computer so you can be matched with the appropriate adapter. |

TURNING ON THE SYSTEM
STEP 1: Use the attached remote-control, point at the bottom-right of the TV, then press the power button.
CONNECTING A LAPTOP: HDMI
STEP 1: On the remote-control, press SOURCE. The source row will appear on the top of the screen.
Use the arrow buttons to select the appropriate source when using:
HDMI 1 socket: HDMI 1
HDMI 2 socket: HDMI 2
STEP 2: Connect HDMI cable to laptop
STEP 3: For audio volume, use the remote-control's volume buttons to toggle up or down.
Mirroring your displayMac: COMMAND + F1 (COMMAND + dim brightness on macs with a touchbar)
Windows: WINDOWS SYMBOL + P, then select DUPLICATE
